About C & C Marine

Jim Moulton has been fishing since his childhood, but in the early 1990's he became involved in bass fishing, and has continued to become specialized in the industry. Jim and Lynda started a plumbing contracting business in 1993, and eventually started looking for another business to own into their retirement years.

They purchased C & C Marine on August 1st, 2007 from Chet and Carroll Hammonds (hence C & C Marine). They had established C & C Marine in 1983, and grew the business into its current well known reputation. The business not only had a strong customer following, but also efficient and dedicated employees.

On July 15th, 2010, Jim Moulton Corporation added the well known dealership of Capitol City Marine, in Citrus Heights, CA, to their Ranger team. As the C & C team steps into place at the Citrus Heights store, some aspects of the new location will remain the same, and others will come as pleasant surprises.

For starters, Capitol City Marine has returned to its original name of C & C Marine.

Shoppers at the Citrus Heights location will also see a fresh look to the inventory, with the addition of every bass angler's needs in fishing apparel, tackle, rods, and reels. Multiple choices in the bulk oil department will also be on the menu of new purchasable items.

C & C Marine is already a leader in the marine industry, and Jim's continued love for fishing and being a part of the bass fishing industry is evident. Jim's creation of the Team C & C Marine Program for new Ranger owners is unmatched, and was one of the innovative ways he has developed to show his support to his customers and the sport of bass fishing.

Meet the Staff at C&C Marine

Jim Moulton - President/CEO

Jim has been the owner of C&C Marine since August 1st, 2007. He has been an avid fisherman for over 18 years. In 2009, Jim won Nor-Cal Bass's Angler of the Year. He also took 1st place in the Future Pro Tour's Tournament of Champions.

Jim has been self-employed since 1993, currently owning two businesses. Besides bass fishing, he enjoys sand-quad riding, RV traveling, racquetball, and paintball.

Jim's future plans for C&C Marine are to continue to expand his knowledge in the field of bass fishing, as well as improve the customer's needs in service and quality products.

Lynda Moulton - CFO

Lynda has been the co-owner of C&C Marine since August 1st, 2007. She has been observing the fishing industry for over 18 years, as Jim's wife. She even tournament fished with Jim for one year, but wasn't quite as experienced.

Lynda has been self-employed since 1993, but has been in the Accounting/Office Managing Industry for over 37 years. In her spare time she enjoys endurance trail riding and camping with Joe, her endurance horse. She also enjoys sand-quad riding with her family, water sports, RV traveling, and reading.

Our Modesto Family:

Richard Antonucci - General Manager - Modesto

Richard has been with C&C Marine since 1998, and has been in the retail business for over 33 years. He has been involved in bass fishing since 1990. His biggest bass to date is 13.78 lbs.

Richard specializes in Ranger boats, sales, and accessories. He's our Go-To-Guy when it comes to anything having to do with Ranger.

When Richard isn't working, he enjoys building and driving RC cars and trucks, building and flying RC planes, and bass fishing.

Jennifer Jones - Administrative Assistant - Modesto

Jenny has been with C & C Marine February 2010. She has been around the fishing industry since she was a little girl. Growing up with Jim as her father, she's been exposed to just about everything having to do with bass fishing.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and watching movies with her boyfriend. She had a baby in August 2010, and is enjoying "mommy-hood".

Jenny has enjoyed working for her family, and has made many friends since being employed by C & C.

Paul Cox - Lead Sales Associate - Modesto

Paul has been with C&C Marine since 2004. He has been enjoying fishing in tournaments for over 30 years. He has qualified for numerous Tournament Of Championships.

Paul has a good knowledge of various baits to be used on the CA Delta and other surrounding lakes.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys fishing and playing Texas Hold 'Em. He also loves spending time with his 4 grandkids.

Greg LeCocq - Service Manager - Modesto

Greg has been with C&C Marine since 2002. Even though he is not much of a fisherman, Greg knows the industry very well for the time he's been working here.

He is certified by Evinrude, Mercury Verado, Mercury CDS, Mercury Outboard Systems, and has many other acheivements, certifications, and awards hanging on the walls for the services he provides.

In his spare time, Greg likes to just kick back at home and relax with the family.

Jason Davis - Head Mechanic - Modesto

J.D. has been with C&C Marine since 2002. He has worked in the industry for over 15 years now. He has a degree in Marine Mechanics. He has passed the Q-Care Basic Marine Technology, Evinrude & Johnson Distance Learning programs, as well as many others.

In his spare time, J.D. loves to spend time with his family.

J.D. says he is proud to work for C&C Marine because we all share the same interest in customer satisfaction - Do a job correctly, or not at all!!!

Jason Klose - Fiberglass Repair - Modesto

Jay has been with C&C Marine since 2007. He was trained by Travis, who previously worked here for about 20 years. His hands on experience has really helped him excel in his field of work.

In his spare time, Jay enjoys building hot rods. He has many projects that he has done since high school, and many he is currently working on.

Jay also loves spending time with his two young children.

Chris Gleason - Mechanic - Modesto

Chris has been with C & C Marine since April of 2010. He is a Universal Technical Institute graduate, and has been an excellent edition to our company.

Chris enjoys motorcylces, cars, trucks, snowboarding, jet skiis, and all other water sports.

He is looking to expand his education in the Marine Technology field, and get his full Outboard Motor Certification.

Our Citrus Heights Family:

Mike Van Wagner - General Manager - Citrus Heights

Mike is the General Manager of the C & C Marine Citrus Heights location. He has been with the company since 2002, but has been in the fishing industry for over 30 years.

He is certified in Evinrude and Mercury Outboard engines, and has been involved in many tournament organizations.

In his spare time, he enjoys tournament fishing, salt water fishing, and spending time with his wife and family.

Phillip Mazzi - Head Mechanic - Citrus Heights

Phillip has been with C & C Marine since 2004. He has been a certified Mercury Mechanic for over 8 years, specializing in Optimax and Yamaha engines. He also knows his way around Evinrude motors as well, and comes highly recommended by the bass community on his knowledge of "The Big Outboard Motors".

In his spare time, he likes to work on old cars, and has put on a show called Midnight Mass since 2003.

Phillip's main goal is customer satisfaction in the work he does.
